Honey Singh and Diljit Dosanjh‘s song Lak 28 Kudi Da reached No1 in BBC Asian Download Charts. The song was produced as a promotional song for the Punjabi Film Lion of Punjab, in which Diljit Dosanjh was in the main lead. The song has been in the chart for 4 weeks now. This is not the first time that Honey Singh has hit the number 1 slot at BBC Asian Charts. Previously he did it in 2006 with the song Kharkey Glassy.
Lak 28 Kudi Da is closely followed by Punjabi MC and Ashok GIll’s Moorni which is rising in ranks and has been in the charts for 23 weeks now.
